Montrez Nicholson
In September 1997, Rev. Montrez joined the Tree of Life Christian Ministries and on January 25, 2004 was ordained by Pastor James Robinson and anointed by the Holy Spirit to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. At the Tree of Life, Rev. Montrez serves as an Assistant Pastor and the Director of Education. She is often a guest speaker at various Women’s events and church programs, as well as events for singles and young adults. She teaches Sunday Morning Journey through the Bible, Believers’ Foundation 101 and Thursday Night Family Life Ministries’ Adult Bible Study. She also serves as editor of the church newsletter, youth leader of the children’s ministry, and is a committee member of the women’s ministry. Rev. Montrez holds a MBA in Management from Strayer University, Woodbridge, VA and a BS in Management from National Louis University, Chicago, IL. She has been employed by the federal government since 1988. Rev. Montrez is a native of South Carolina and the proud daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Register and Annie Nicholson and the very proud mother of two children, Johnathan (21) and Roberta (17). Rev. Montrez owes her life to the true and living God for allowing her to be who she is today. Although the road has not been easy, she realizes that without God in her life, leading and guiding her through it all, she would have fainted long ago. But God, her sustainer and provider, has been true to His promises and has granted her great knowledge that if she puts her total trust in Him; He will never leave her nor forsake her. Great is Thy Faithfulness for the Great Things He has done.
