Thurman Fooks
Rev. Thurman T. Fooks is a native of Washington, DC. He is the product of the Prince George’s County, Maryland, and DC Public School Systems. Rev. Thurman is a military veteran, having honorably served with the United States Air Force Presidential Honor Guard at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, DC. Rev. Fooks is the Broker and owner of Trinity Realty Group. He has been a coordinator for the teen program and youth basketball coach at the Marlow Heights Community Center in Prince George’s County. He rounds himself out by participating as a semi-professional football player with the Warriors Athletic Club in Washington, DC. He is a member of the Tree of Life Christian Ministries, where he was ordained as an Elder in January 2004 and in March of 2007 he was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel . Rev. Fooks serves as co-leader of the Media and Drama Departments, and teacher for Sunday School and Bible Study. He wrote and acted in “Life in the Real World” for the church’s tenth anniversary celebration and co-wrote “The Value of Your Calling” for the church’s eleventh anniversary celebration. Rev. Fooks is married to Carlena Fooks and is the proud father of three sons, DeAndre, DeLante, and Carson.
