Stephan Sutton

Rev. Stephan L. Sutton is the Music Minister at The Tree of Life Christian Ministries. He is married to Christine Sutton and has two stepsons Robert A. and Darryl E. Williams. Rev. Sutton was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated from Chicago Vocational High School in 1980 majoring in Electronics. He subsequently joined the United States Air Force and spent nearly 15 years serving his country. During his tenure, he became a master telecommunications technician and received numerous accolades from the various military services. By God’s will, Rev. Sutton and his family moved from Madrid, Spain, to the Washington, DC, area to serve at Andrews Air Force Base in August of 1989. He built Andrews’ first Metropolitan Area Computer Network, which streamlined Air Force One and Special Air Mission’s staging and coordination process. The Lord called Rev. Sutton while he was in Chicago visiting his mother, Gwendolyn, in November 1991. He was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit and began a continuous quest for the knowledge of God. Since then, he has donated his talents as a servant, singer, musician and technician to the body of Christ. He joined the Tree of Life Christian Ministries in February 2000, where he until recently assumed the position of Music Minister. Rev. Stephan was ordained into the ministry by Pastor James J. Robinson in January 2004.
